Blueberry Smoothie Bowl

A deliciously refreshing way to start the day.

Ingredients

1/4 cup old-fashioned oats

1 frozen banana

1 cup frozen blueberries or a combination of your choice

1/3 – 1/2 cup milk of your choice

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 tablespoon maple syrup – to taste

1 tablespoon cashew butter (optional)

scoop of protein powder (optional)

Toppings:

Fresh berries

Banana slices

Nuts and seeds

Oats, granola

Herbs and edible flowers

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients in a blender (start with less milk and add more to reach your desired consistency) and blitz until smooth. You may need to use the tamper.
  2. Pour into pretty bowls and add toppings to your heart’s content and enjoy.
