Ingredients
3 1/2 tablespoons chia seeds
2 cups milk, dairy or non-dairy
2 cups fresh or frozen berries of your choice
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 – 2 tablespoons maple syrup
Toppings
A couple of leaves of fresh mint, lemon balm or lemon verbena
Plain or vanilla Greek yogurt – dairy or non-dairy
Berries
Your favorite nuts, toasted
Pumpkin/sunflower seeds, toasted
Granola
Instructions
- Place all the ingredients (start with 1 tablespoon of maple syrup – you can add more if necessary) in a powerful blender and blitz until smooth.
- Taste, adding more maple syrup if desired. Pour into individual serving bowls.
- Chill in the fridge for at least 4 hours – overnight is ideal.
- Top with yogurt if desired, more berries, nuts, seeds, and/or granola
