Homemade Immunity Shots (Three Fresh Wellness Shot Recipes)
Bright, fresh and bursting with vibrant fruits, herbs and vegetables, these Homemade Immunity Shots are an easy way to celebrate the goodness of plants. Whether you choose sunny citrus, earthy beetroot or leafy greens, each little glass is packed with fresh flavor and colorful ingredients your body will thank you for.
Three Little Glasses of Plant Magic
There’s something wonderfully comforting about pulling out the juicer on a cold January morning.
When winter settles in and everyone around you seems to be sniffling and sneezing, I find myself reaching for oranges, lemons, ginger, turmeric, parsley and kale. Not because they’re magic cures—there’s no such thing—but because they’re beautiful, nourishing ingredients that help me feel like I’m taking good care of myself.
These Homemade Immunity Shots have become a little seasonal ritual in my kitchen. They’re fresh, vibrant, naturally colorful, and they taste wonderfully alive.
Choose your favorite or make all three. Each one has its own personality.
Sunshine Citrus Immunity Shot
Golden, warming and bright.
If sunshine could be poured into a tiny glass, I think it would taste something like this.
Ingredients
- Oranges
- Lemon
- Fresh ginger
- Fresh turmeric
Why You’ll Love It
Fresh oranges and lemons bring plenty of vibrant citrus flavor, while ginger adds gentle warmth and turmeric contributes its gorgeous golden color. It’s refreshing, zingy and wakes up every taste bud.
Pink Paradise Beet Shot
Earthy, refreshing and absolutely stunning.
This jewel-colored juice is one of the prettiest things to come out of the juicer.
Ingredients
- Beetroot
- English cucumber
- Fresh ginger
Why You’ll Love It
Beets create that incredible ruby color, cucumber keeps everything wonderfully fresh, and ginger adds a little spicy finish.
It’s almost too beautiful to drink.
Green Machine Juice Shot
Fresh from the garden.
This is the shot that reminds me why I grow herbs. A handful of parsley transforms both the flavor and the color into something wonderfully vibrant.
Ingredients
- Kale
- Celery
- Lemon
- Fresh ginger
- Fresh parsley
- Apple (optional)
Why You’ll Love It
The apple softens the green flavors just enough, while parsley and lemon brighten every sip. It’s crisp, fresh and tastes like a garden after summer rain.
Why These Ingredients Are Kitchen Superstars
One of the things I love most about cooking is that every ingredient brings something unique to the table.
Oranges & Lemons
Naturally rich in vitamin C with wonderfully bright flavor.
Fresh Ginger
Adds warmth, gentle spice and has been treasured in traditional cooking for centuries.
Fresh Turmeric
Its vibrant golden color comes from natural plant compounds and pairs beautifully with citrus.
Beetroot
Earthy, naturally sweet and loaded with colorful plant pigments.
Kale
One of my favorite leafy greens for adding richness and depth to fresh juices.
Parsley
Far more than a garnish, parsley adds freshness along with vitamins and minerals.
Celery
Crisp, refreshing and naturally hydrating.
A Little Plant Magic
One of my favorite things about these tiny glasses is that they remind me how extraordinary ordinary plants can be. A few oranges, a handful of parsley, a piece of ginger pulled from the crisper drawer—they become something joyful, colorful and full of life.
Whether you’re making one glass or a whole batch to share, these Homemade Immunity Shots are a delicious reminder that simple ingredients often create the most beautiful rituals in the kitchen.
