Why Make Frozen Yogurt Bark at Home?
Making Frozen Yogurt Bark at home means you get to choose exactly what goes into it.
You can:
- Control the sweetness.
- Use your favorite yogurt.
- Add seasonal fruit.
- Include extra protein with Greek yogurt.
- Make it completely dairy-free if you wish.
- Skip unnecessary additives found in many frozen desserts.
It’s one of those wonderfully simple recipes that’s every bit as fun to make as it is to eat.
A Little Plant Magic
Some of my favorite recipes begin with whatever happens to be in season.
A handful of ripe berries from the market, a spoonful of homemade jam tucked away in the refrigerator, a scattering of crunchy nuts, and suddenly an everyday tub of yogurt becomes something beautiful.
I love that every batch of Frozen Yogurt Bark tells a slightly different story depending on the season. Summer brings berries and peaches, autumn calls for pears and toasted pecans, while winter is perfect for dried fruit, dark chocolate, and warming spices.
Sometimes the most magical recipes aren’t the complicated ones—they’re the ones that invite us to play.

Frozen Yogurt Bark
A deliciously healthy, quick, and easy sweet treat!
Total Time: 20 minutes
Yield: 4 servings
Ingredients
1 cup plain yogurt (Greek, regular dairy, or your favorite dairy-free yogurt)
1 tablespoon of strawberry jam
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Assortment of fresh berries – I particularly like raspberries and blueberries
1 tablespoon salted, roasted, coarsely chopped cashews
Instructions
- Line a baking tray with parchment or wax paper. This is important as the yogurt will stick to the pan if it is not lined.
- In a bowl combine the yogurt and syrup. Pour onto the lined baking tray and spread evenly. Dot the strawberry jam in little mounds all over the bark. Use toothpicks to swirl. Dot with berries and sprinkle with chopped nuts.
- Place in the freezer for at least 2 hours. Remove, break the bark into pieces and serve. The bark will keep in the freezer in an airtight container for 2 months.
Notes
This is a great recipe to make a day in advance. Allow the bark to sit in the freezer overnight.
