Try this deliciously flavorful Easy Vegan Parmesan!

This gorgeous Easy Vegan Parmesan is full of bold “cheesy” flavors. It’s super quick to whip up, needing only 4 ingredients! You will never need to buy Parmesan, in any form, again!

Cheese is the one thing most people find SOOOO difficult to give up on a Vegan diet. Wait! What! No Parmesan on my pasta! It seems to be asking just that little bit too much. So, here’s a fabulous solution. Easy Vegan Parmesan is a snap to make, while the look, texture, and taste are close to the real thing. Just without the health consequences (to you and the animals).

What’s the secret ingredient? Raw unsalted CASHEWS! These wonderful nuts are a Godsend on a vegan diet, they’re so adaptable, willing to be blended, ground and pulverized into delicious sauces, dips, and Parmesan cheese! Although this isn’t a “melty” cheese it’s amazing sprinkled over any savory dish.

How do you make it?

Oh, it’s SO easy!

  1. Pulse the cashews in a food processor until they look like the picture below. Make sure you only pulse, don’t process for too long or the mixture will turn into cashew butter, which is delicious, just not what we’re after in this recipe.
  2. Add the other ingredients – see below and pulse a little more until everything’s combined.
  3. That’s it 🙂 Easy, peasy.

All you need to make this is a good quality Food Processor.

Can I substitute other nuts?

Yes, you can! Substitute any other raw, unsalted nut you like, although I prefer cashews.

1 cup raw unsalted cashews

1/4 cup nutritional yeast

1/4 teaspoon onion powder

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Pinch of ground black pepper


  1. Place the cashews in the bowl of a food processor, pulse until they have transformed into crumbs.
  2. Add the other ingredients, pulse a couple of times until fully combined.
